Error message: "Phrase is invalid"
It's possible to get this error message when trying to reset your PIN, back up or restore your wallet. Recovery Phrases have built-in error detection, so Koala Wallet can tell you if you are entering an invalid phrase. Check again that you are entering all words exactly as in your backup. It's also possible that you made a mistake during backup and wrote down a word that looks or sounds similar, for example "grid / grit", "ride / tide", "bind / bird". You can check the full list of valid words here to help find your mistake.
Error message: "Entered phrase does not match the wallet's phrase"
It's possible to get this error message when trying to reset your PIN or back up your wallet. This error message means that you are entering a valid Recovery Phrase, however it's not the phrase set up in your device. Search your backups and papers for other Phrases. When you enter the exact same phrase that corresponds to your wallet, it will be accepted.
Can't spell a word, it doesn't appear above the keyboard
Only a small number of words are valid for Recovery Phrases. If you type a word but it doesn't show up above the keyboard to be selected, you made a mistake when writing it down. Check the full list of valid words here to find the correct word.
Restored wallet is empty
Token wallets aren't automatically displayed after restoring. If you had assets other than KDA, make sure you add them to the main list.
If still you don't see any balance, copy your "receive" address and search for it on a block explorer like kdaexplorer.com. If the explorer shows transactions and balance, your device is simply having refresh problems. Once it successfully completes a refresh, all transactions and balance will display correctly. If the explorer also shows no balance or doesn't show the address at all, you are restoring the wrong Recovery Phrase, thus, the wrong address. Search your backups and documents for other Phrases. When you restore the correct one you will get the correct address and balance.
