On Koala Wallet's main screen, below your final balance, you see the individual balance and equivalent value of each asset you have listed. To receive an asset, first select from the list which one you want to receive, then press the "Receive" button.
You will immediately see your address for that asset and a QR code that represents it. You can share the address and desired chain or QR code to anyone from whom you want to receive. Once assets are sent to your address, the transaction will appear in your wallet within seconds.
The Receive section of Kadena assets allows you to specify which chain you want to receive in, as well as the amount. Changing any of those values will update the QR code, so that when a wallet scans it, it will automatically set those values when sending assets to you. This function is for added convenience when distributing your funds between chains, but ultimately it doesn't matter what chain number is used to receive. Koala Wallet supports all.
To send an asset, first select from the list which one you want to send, then press the "Send" button.
At the top of the screen, enter the recipient address and chain. If you have the recipient saved in Koala Wallet's contacts, press the "Contacts" button and select the recipient from there. If you have the recipient's QR code, press the "Scan" button to load the information from the code. If you received the recipient's address as text, you can paste the address on the recipient field. To avoid mistakes we recommend that you use the options above instead of manually inputting the address.
When sending Kadena assets, select the chain that the recipient must receive into. If the recipient didn't inform you of the chain, please contact them and ask so they won't have problems detecting the transaction. The Ethereum network has no separate chains, so this option is hidden when sending Ethereum assets.
On the bottom half of the screen, select which chain you want to send from. You will see your balance on each one. You must have enough balance on any single chain to be able to send. Don't worry, if the source and destination chains are different, Koala Wallet will automatically do any necessary conversions (read more here). For Ethereum transactions, again, there is no need to choose any chain number.
Finally, enter the amount you want the recipient to receive. Koala Wallet will show the equivalent dollar value below it. Transaction fees will be taken from your remaining balance.
Once all is set, press "Continue" to see a summary of the transaction, then press "Confirm" and authenticate with your PIN or biometric to send.
