You can hold and transact with thousands of tokens on the Ethereum network. But occasionally, when trying to send a token, you may encounter an error saying you don't have enough balance to cover the transaction fees. This can happen even when you're sending much less than your full token balance, leaving more than enough to spare for fees.
This is because all transactions on the Ethereum network must pay fees using ETH, even those sending tokens. The error message is pointing to a problem in your ETH balance, not the token's. In order to be able to send, you will have to increase the ETH balance in that account.
Once you have increased your Ethereum balance you should be able to send. As of August 2023 a balance of 0.005 ETH is more than enough for a token transfer.
